God Intervenes in Every Moment of My Life

My husband suffered a stroke following a serious car accident, which led to vision loss. I’ve had to shoulder the responsibility of supporting our family alone—caring for my daughter, who has ADHD, and navigating the immense stress from our struggling convenience store. Yet, because God intervenes in every moment of my life, I have not collapsed. Instead, I’ve become increasingly steadfast in my faith.
In June 2024, at Tammy’s invitation, I attended Sunday worship at the Richmond Hill Christian Community Church for the first time. During the service, I wept—as if a lost child had finally found the way home. My heart was filled with peace and warmth unlike anything I had ever known. In that moment, I knew our Heavenly Father understood the years of hardship I had endured and offered me a place of refuge. That day, I was blessed to meet Pastor Anna Chen and wholeheartedly committed my life to the Lord.
The joy of faith had only just begun. Soon after, on July 1st, my husband was suddenly in a car accident that triggered a stroke. He was rushed to the ICU. In that critical moment, Pastor Chen and two church members arrived at the hospital to visit us. Even more miraculously, Pastor Chen led my husband in a prayer of commitment to Christ moments before he fell into a coma—giving him the opportunity to receive God’s mercy and healing.

My daughter, always by my side
During his hospitalization, I rushed between multiple cities in Toronto every day. Living in Markham, I started each morning preparing meals and fruit for my husband and child, dropped my child off at summer camp, then headed to Sunnybrook Hospital to care for my husband. After that, I ran errands in North York, delivered supplies to our Vaughan store, and picked my child up from school.
In addition, I had to manage insurance claims, bank matters, hire a lawyer and staff, and retrieve belongings from our totaled vehicle—an avalanche of tasks all resting on my shoulders. During those days, I barely ate or drank, sometimes going two days before finally eating something. Still, I remained mentally alert and organized. I know this wasn’t by my own strength, but by God’s presence and support—allowing me to remain steadfast amid overwhelming pressure.
In July 2023, my 9-year-old daughter personally experienced God’s grace and chose to commit her life to Christ. Now, our family prays together every day, thanking God for His powerful salvation.
Despite my husband’s vision loss, the burden of supporting the family, caring for a child with ADHD, and facing business pressures, I’ve continued to face adversity with faith. Prolonged anxiety once brought me to the brink of collapse—sleepless nights, loss of appetite, heart palpitations, trembling hands, vomiting, and chest pain triggered by the sound of a ringing phone. Only through unceasing prayer and life-saving medicine was I able to persevere. I knew that if I broke down, my whole family would lose hope.

God provides for those who trust in Him. Each morning and evening, I pray for wisdom, peace, and guidance. Problems that once seemed impossible to resolve, God miraculously made a way—working all things together for good and fulfilling His will beyond what human minds can grasp.
Scripture says: “He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear…” (1 Corinthians 10:13). God’s hand has never left me. Every time I reached my limit, He intervened and guided me forward. Without Him, I would have given up long ago. Now, when faced with injustice and criticism, I’ve learned to surrender and believe: “Whatever you ask for in faith, you will receive.” As my spiritual life deepens, I’ve come to know that Jesus’ love is truly unconditional—a love that forgives, humbles, gently guides, and willingly bears our burdens.
I believe God has prepared the road ahead for our family. Even through stormy days, He will guide us through each tomorrow. By His grace, may I become a source of comfort and blessing to others—bearing witness to His glory.
As Romans 8:28 says: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” The car accident was a tragic event, yet through it, God brought spiritual rebirth and growth to our family—teaching us to trust and rely on Him completely.
We are a blessed family. We thank God for His salvation and abiding presence. And we thank the church, our spiritual family, for enveloping us in their love and care. Amen.
