Laborers in the Vineyard(English)

The Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard is recorded in the Bible, in the Gospel of Matthew 20:1-16
Later, he went to the marketplace three more times and saw people without work, so he invited them as well to work in his vineyard.
Finally, in the evening,he saw there were still people without work, and he hired them too. When it was time to finish work, every worker—from those who started early in the morning to those who came in the evening—received the same pay: one silver coin.
The early workers complained, saying, “We worked all day long, and yet those who only worked for one hour received the same wage as us!”
The vineyard owner replied, “I haven’t treated you unfairly. I gave everyone the same pay because I am generous. Are you envious because I am kind?”
This is actually a parable told by Jesus about the Kingdom of Heaven. The focus is not on the amount of wages.
The vineyard represents the Kingdom of Heaven, The owner treating all workers equally reflects how God offers the same love and grace to all who believe in Him, regardless of how long they have followed Him.
We shouldn’t be jealous of others, but instead be grateful for the blessings we receive from God. Otto Lee
